Steven Feuerstein is considered one of the world's leading experts on the Oracle PL/SQL language, having written nine books on PL/SQL (all from O'Reilly & Associates), including Oracle PL/SQL Programming and Oracle PL/SQL Best Practices. He has received various awards over the years for his work on PL/SQL, including Oracle Magazine PL/SQL Developer of the Year in 2003 and 2006. Steven is the only ODTUG presenter to win three awards—the 2005 Best Presentation, the 2005 Editor’s Choice Award, and the 2002 Best Presentation Award. He has taught thousands of the PL/SQL developers and DBAs in seminars throughout U.S., Europe, Australia, and Latin America.

Paul Dorsey,
Dulcian
Paul Dorsey is president of Dulcian, Inc., an Oracle consulting firm specializing in business rules and Web-based application development, and chief architect of Dulcian's BRIM® tool. Paul co-authored seven Oracle Press books on JDeveloper, UML Modeling, and Oracle database tools as well as PL/SQL For Dummies. He is an Oracle ACE Director, SELECT associate editor, ODTUG symposium chairperson, past IOUG and ODTUG volunteer of the year, and an Oracle 9i Certified Master. Paul’s submission of a survey generator, built to collect data for the Preeclampsia Foundation, was the winner of the 2007 Oracle Fusion Middleware Developer Challenge and Oracle selected him as the 2007 PL/SQL Developer of the Year.

Bryn Llewellyn, PL/SQL Product Manager, Server Technologies Division,
Oracle Corporation
Bryn Llewellyn has worked in the software field for over 30 years. He joined Oracle UK in 1990 at the European Development Center in the Oracle Designer team. He transferred to the Oracle Text team and then into Consulting as the Text specialist for Europe. He relocated to Redwood Shores in 1996 to join the Oracle Text Technical Marketing Group. He has been the product manager for PL/SQL since 2001. In 2005, he took on the additional product management responsibility for the Oracle Database capabilities that support online application upgrade. (The main one of these is called edition-based redefinition – EBR for short.)
It's hard for Bryn to remember his life before Oracle. He started off doing image analysis and pattern recognition at Oxford University. He then worked in Oslo, in the public sector and in a startup. While in Norway, Bryn programmed in Simula, whose inventors were his close colleagues. This language was the inspiration for Smalltalk and C++.

Cary Millsap is the founder and president of Method R Corporation (http://method-r.com). He is widely known in the Oracle community as a speaker, educator, consultant, and writer. Michael Rosenblum,
Dulcian, Inc.
Michael Rosenblum is a development DBA at Dulcian, Inc. He is responsible for system tuning and application architecture. He supports Dulcian developers by writing complex PL/SQL routines and researching new features. Michael is the co-author of PL/SQL for Dummies (Wiley Press, 2006). Michael is a frequent presenter at various regional and national Oracle user group conferences. In his native Ukraine, he received the scholarship of the President of Ukraine, a MS in information systems, and a diploma with honors from the Kiev National University of Economics.

Sumner Technologies
Scott Spendolini is president and founder of Sumner Technologies, a small consulting firm which specializes in Oracle Application Express training and services. Scotti has assisted a number of clients from various industries with their Application Express development and training needs. Prior to founding Sumner Technologies, he worked for Oracle Corporation for almost ten years, the last three of which he was a senior product manager for Oracle Application Express. He has presented at a number of conferences, including Oracle OpenWorld, ODTUG, and IOUG. Scott is co-authoring a new book, Pro Oracle Application Express, which should be published this summer.
